Market Street Honored as Pink the Basin’s 2026 Partner of the Year
Supporting the communities we serve has always been at the heart of who we are, and that commitment was recently recognized in a special way. Market Street was honored as the 2026 Partner of the Year by Pink the Basin, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer support, education, and services throughout the Permian Basin.
The award, presented during this year’s Pink the Basin event, recognizes Market Street’s ongoing support of the organization and its mission to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by breast cancer. The plaque presented to Market Street expressed appreciation for the team’s “selfless support” and commitment to helping the Permian Basin community, highlighting the meaningful impact that partnerships, volunteerism, and community service can have on local lives.
This recognition reflects the dedication of countless team members who support community fundraising efforts, volunteer their time and help bring awareness to an important cause. Special thanks go to the store teams, store leaders, and team members who contributed to the success of this year’s event as well as past events. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among women in the United States, with hundreds of thousands of new cases diagnosed each year. However, increased awareness, education, screening, and advances in treatment have helped improve outcomes and save lives. Community organizations like Pink the Basin play an important role by providing resources, support, and hope to those impacted by the disease.
