Hooves, Heroes, and Halftime Honors: The Budweiser Clydesdales come to Lubbock

Last week, Lubbock had the unique opportunity to welcome the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, thanks to a special partnership between United Supermarkets, Budweiser, and Folds of Honor, an organization that provides scholarship funds for students of families of fallen military or first responders. It was an unforgettable week and a chance to support a great cause! Throughout the campaign, guests and team members were able to raise money for scholarships benefiting students in the area.  

The Clydesdales, a symbol of Anheuser-Busch since 1993, visited United Family stores #502 Market Street, #537 United Supermarkets, and #657 United Supermarkets in Lubbock, where guests and team members took pictures with the incredible Clydesdales horses. 

On Saturday, September 28, the Budweiser Clydesdales made another appearance outside the Jones AT&T Stadium before the Texas Tech football game in Lubbock, TX. During halftime, representatives from Folds of Honor, Standard Sales, and United Family team members presented a $10,000 check to fund scholarships for Texas Tech students.

The United Family is proud to partner with Folds of Honor and Budweiser to support such a meaningful cause, honoring the sacrifices of military families and first responders while bringing the Lubbock community together.
