Hub City BBQ: United Supermarkets Official Grocer

Last week, United Supermarkets proudly sponsored the 26th annual Hub City BBQ cookoff in Lubbock, TX, an event that brought together nearly 100 passionate BBQ teams competing for top honors in five categories: the Bloody Mary, pork ribs, brisket, dessert, and the cook’s choice challenge. 

As the official grocer of Hub City BBQ, United Supermarkets was honored to provide all of the competition meat, ensuring the highest quality ingredients for every contender. United Supermarkets wasn’t just a sponsor; we also fielded our own dedicated BBQ team, demonstrating our passion for community, competition, and great BBQ.

The anticipation was high as the first through fifth place winners were announced in each category. We are thrilled to share that United Supermarkets secured fifth place in the Bloody Mary category! United Supermarkets owes its continued success to the dedication of numerous store directors and team members across the city of Lubbock, whose tireless efforts make it a truly unforgettable experience for all.
