International Women’s Day

International Women's Day at The United Family

With almost 60 years combined, United Family team members Debbie Sumner and Rebekah Bernal have been trailblazing the way for women across the company. As a Store Director and the Hispanic Innovation Manager, they are a true testament to hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment.

Today on March 8, and the remainder of March, The United Family honors the women of the company. From florists, to produce clerks, to cake decorators, to sackers, to store directors and so much more – you are valued, and The United Family appreciates you.

International Women’s Day traces its roots back to the early 20th century when women around the world began advocating for equality and better working conditions. Over the years, this day has evolved into a global celebration of the achievements and resilience of women in various fields.

Similarly, The United Family has a history of empowering women within our workforce. From leadership positions to the front lines of guest service, our female team members bring diverse skills and perspectives that contribute to the vibrant tapestry of our company.

As we embrace the spirit of International Women’s Day, we find immense joy in recognizing and celebrating the incredible women of The United Family. To hear about the stories of tenured team members Debbie and Rebekah, watch the videos.

Thank you to the many talented women of The United Family. Happy International Women’s Day!
