The Battle of the Bags
Throughout July, United Family store teams were hard at work competing in the 2024 Best Bagger Competition.
This annual competition allows team members to test their best sacking skills. Each store hosts a competition and awards a winner with a $100 prize. Then, each United Family region hosts a regional competition to name the region’s best sacker with a $300 prize, and runner-ups win a $100 prize. Afterward, each region competes in The United Family Divisional Bagger Competition, and the final winner is awarded a grand prize of $1,000, and the runner-up is awarded $500!
The United Family hosts their contests every summer with hopes to send the United divisional winner to compete in the National Grocers Association Best Bagger Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada, in March 2025. The national winner will be awarded a $10,000 grand prize.
