A Gingerbread Christmas in Brownwood and a Vintage Christmas in Lubbock

A Gingerbread christmas in Brownwood and a Vintage Christmas in Lubbock

Our UCrew teams once again brought festive magic to two local communities this holiday season, spreading joy and holiday spirit in Christmas Parades!

In Brownwood, team members participated in the 16th annual Christmas Under the Stars Parade hosted by the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce. The United Supermarkets float embraced a charming gingerbread Christmas theme, complete with a gingerbread house and a sweet “Merry Christmas” poster. Team members and their families accompanied the float with team members Brittany and Matt wearing gingerbread costumes!

Meanwhile, in Lubbock, another group of UCrew team members joined the Miracles Christmas Parade, a completely voluntary parade along 34th Street that celebrated a nostalgic vintage Christmas theme. The team created a retro-inspired float featuring United’s vintage logos, traditional garlands, and warm glowing lights.

Both teams went above and beyond, building floats, walking in the parades, and passing out candy to spectators. The result? Unforgettable moments of community involvement that brought neighbors together in the spirit of the season.

Thank you to all the UCrew members who poured their time, energy, and creativity into making these parades magical. Your hard work and holiday cheer remind us all of the joy that comes from being part of a community.

Here’s to keeping the holiday spirit alive – one float and one smile at a time!
