$750 United We Care Blessings Brighten the Christmas Season

At The United Family, caring for team members isn’t just something we do–it’s who we are. Through United We Care, we’ve built a tradition of supporting our team members during life’s most challenging moments, making sure no team member has to face hardship alone. 

Since 2007, United We Care has been a lifeline for team members, powered by a board of 20 individuals dedicated to making a difference. Led by Kristi Gonzales, program manager, and team member advocate, the program transforms small weekly paycheck contributions into a powerful source of hope and relief. 

Each Christmas season, the spirit of care shines brightest with United We Care’s Christmas Blessings program. This program provides financial support to 70 team members, 10 in each United region, selected through peer nominations. This year, each recipient will receive a $750 Christmas blessing to help ease financial burdens or bring a little extra joy during the season. 

“Our Christmas Blessings program is one of my favorite ways we are able to give back to our team members,” said Kristi Gonzales, the program’s manager. “The nominations are meaningful because they are peer-based. It is a true reflection of The United Family taking care of each other. Surprising these team members during the holiday season, with a $750 Christmas Blessing, is such a rewarding experience. Being able to see the joy and excitement on each recipient’s face as we pass them out is indescribable.”
