Making Miracles Happen

The United Family is teaming up with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to make a difference in the lives of children across Abilene, Amarillo, Lubbock, and Wichita Falls. From now through March 29, guests and team members can easily support this mission by donating at the register while checking out at any United Supermarkets, Market Street, and Amigos locations in these areas. Every dollar donated stays local, benefiting CMN hospitals in the community where it’s given.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network has been a non-profit with the mission of increasing funding and awareness to change kid’s health. The organization has a network of 170 member children’s hospitals that provide 38 million patient visits, catering to 12 million children annually across the United States and Canada. Since its inception, Children’s Miracle Network has raised over $9 billion through various fundraising programs and partners.

United Family President Sidney Hopper joined Dr. Brian Payne of UMC Children’s Hospital in Lubbock to make the first ceremonial donation, officially kicking off the campaign.

“We are proud to partner with the Children’s Miracle Network to host this fundraising campaign in our stores,” said Sidney Hopper, United Family President. “Children’s Miracle Network does so much for the children and families of our communities. It is humbling to see their impact over the years, and we know the funds raised through this campaign will only allow them to continue their mission.”
