Big Things Are Coming to Seminole!
There was plenty of excitement in the air this week as The United Family, local leaders, and community partners gathered to officially break ground on a brand-new United Supermarkets store and fuel station in Seminole, Texas.
The new store, expected to open in 2027, will replace the current United Supermarkets location and provide an even better shopping experience for the Seminole community. At 49,000 square feet, the new store will offer more space, more convenience and more of the services guests love.
“We are thrilled to announce a new United Supermarkets in Seminole,” said Sidney Hopper, president of The United Family. “We know it will bring an enhanced grocery shopping experience in a larger footprint to a community that has already supported us for a long time. We love Seminole, and our team can’t wait to open the doors to this beautiful new building.”
Located at the southeast corner of Hobbs Highway and 21st Street, the new store will feature many guest favorites, including a full-service pharmacy with drive-through access, mobile ordering with pickup and delivery, an in-store bakery, floral department and full-service meat counter. Guests can also look forward to expanded offerings, including a full-service deli, fresh hot foods, ReadyMeals, and a dining area.
And that’s not all! Seminole will also be getting a United Express fuel station. That means guests can redeem rewards points on fuel savings of up to $1 off per gallon, making every grocery trip even more rewarding.
Community leaders shared their enthusiasm for the project, noting the positive impact it will have on local jobs, economic growth, and quality of life. The new store represents an investment not only in a building, but in the future of Seminole and the people who call it home.
