Amarillo's New Market Street: A Celebration of Community and Giving
This week, a new chapter unfolded as a brand new Market Street celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Amarillo, Texas.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by United Family team members, local leaders, community members, and company partners, was a special occasion that marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the Amarillo community. The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce and the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce were present to cut the ribbon.
As part of the celebration, Market Street made a Positive Impact by presenting a $5,000 check to The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle and another $5,000 to the Special Olympics Texas. The donations will support Special Olympics’ efforts to provide inclusive sport opportunities and The 100 Club’s mission to assist first responders and their families.
Officials from both organizations joined The United Family’s Travis Chaney, regional vice president, and Fernando Noriega, store director, for a photo at the ceremony, which showcased the importance of community partnership.
The store officially opened its doors on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
