Get Ready for Hatch Green Chile Fest!
It’s that time of year again—Hatch Green Chile Fest is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever! From July 24 through August 27, our United Supermarkets, Albertsons Market, Market Street and Amigos locations across Texas and New Mexico are celebrating all things hatch chile with roasting events and fun products!
Teams are roasting chiles fresh on-site throughout the entire campaign, and will continue to roast while supplies last. We’re talking about over 500,000 pounds of chiles roasted each year!
Our goal? To provide our team members and guests with delicious, fresh roasted green chiles and to share the magic of these delicious peppers. Guests can also learn more about the roasting process, growing process and discover the best ways to store their chiles.
And let’s not forget about the amazing products hitting our shelves! Our produce departments will feature fresh peppers, hatch salsa, hatch guacamole, and a variety of fresh cut options with hatch chiles. Over in the market, keep an eye out for the hatch chile burger and hatch chile tri-tip roast, at select locations, while supplies last.
