A Sweet Slice of Success!

A Sweet Slice of Success!

In the sweet world of baking, we have two incredible team members who stand out.

Meet Diane Diaz, the new bakery operations manager at #505 in Lubbock. With 25 years of cake decorating experience, her journey began in the sixth grade with the inspiring Beth Brian of Silver Spoons Culinary Class. From winning Best of Show at the Llano Estacado Winery Chocolate Fantasia to teaching future bakers at Market Street, Diane has truly mastered her craft. Her recent move from #502 to #505 marks an exciting new chapter, and she’s enthusiastic about sharing her expertise and continuing to inspire others in The United Family.

Also in the spotlight is Zach Sigala, our dynamic lead cake decorator. In just a year and a half, he has ascended quickly, all while balancing his studies at South Plains College in the Culinary Arts Program. His role at the #502 bakery has been transformative, and he’s grateful for the guidance from Shara Potak and Diane Diaz. With his eyes set on an exciting future, Zach is eager to see where his bakery journey takes him next.

Together, Diane and Zach are not just team members but the very essence of our bakery department. They embody the spirit of growth and excellence at The United Family. Their dedication and passion not only elevate our cakes, cookies, and other baked goods but also inspire everyone on the team. We can’t wait to see the sweet creations and future achievements these rising stars will bring to our table!
