Going Above and Beyond: Celebrating Angie Yandell

We are proud to celebrate Angie Yandell, assistant service manager at #509 United Supermarkets in Levelland, who was recently recognized as the Volunteer of the Month by the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.

Angie is no stranger to hard work and dedication. A graduate of Coronado High School and Wayland Baptist University, she also studied at the University of Phoenix Masters of Education program. Before joining The United Family, Angie spent her career serving others as a juvenile probation officer and a reading & dyslexia interventionist. Today, she carries that same passion for people  at United, where she helps lead her team and ensures every guest feels valued.

For Angie, family and community are at the heart of what she does. She and her husband, Donnie, who currently serves as district attorney for the 286th district, have been married for 33 years. Together, they’ve raised their son, Hunter, a Texas Tech University graduate now attending the Wolfforth Fire Academy, and welcomed a daughter-in-law, Lindsey. Angie also plays a special role in helping raise her niece, Kinsey. Outside of work, Angie enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.

“I enjoy doing what I can to give back to our community,” said Angie. “It takes everyone helping to make our community a success.”

At United, we couldn’t agree more. We’re thankful for Angie’s service and the incredible example she sets, not only for our team, but for the entire Levelland community. Congratulations, Angie, on Levelland Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Month! We’re so proud of you.
