Albertsons Market & Market Street Raise Over $23,000 to Support The Storehouse New Mexico
Across central New Mexico, Albertsons Market and Market Street guests came together in September to make a big impact… raising $23,356.98 for The Storehouse New Mexico through a donate-at-the-register campaign.
The small acts of generosity at the register added up quickly, helping provide more than 116,000 meals for families and individuals facing food insecurity in the community.
“We are proud to continue our tradition of supporting The Storehouse New Mexico,” said Carlos Hernandez, regional vice president for The United Family. “I’m so thankful to our loyal guests who helped us raise these funds. We know just how much these donations mean to this organization and the families they serve.”
President Sidney Hopper and Director of Pharmacy Tim Purser share a special message of gratitude in this video, thanking United Family pharmacy teams for their commitment to caring for our guests.
As one of the largest food pantries in the state of New Mexico, The Storehouse serves tens of thousands New Mexicans each year… and the need continues to grow.
“The Storehouse helped nearly 80,000 people last year, which was record breaking for our food pantry. With hunger on the rise, we greatly appreciate Albertsons Market and Market Street stores for hosting a fundraiser at their registers,” said Jill Beets, marketing representative for The Storehouse New Mexico. “This generous gift, made possible by the Albertsons Market team and their guests in central New Mexico, will provide over 116,000 meals to local families.”
Albertons Market and Market Street are proud to continue supporting local organizations like The Storehouse that make such a meaningful difference. Together, guests and team members continue to show what’s possible when the community comes together with one donation, one meal, and one neighbor at a time.
