Sweet Success: Team Members Recognized for Work on Easy As Pie Campaign
The United Family hosted its annual “Easy As Pie” campaign in November, a campaign that benefits Lubbock Meals on Wheels, Meals on Wheels Plus(Abilene), and Slaton, TX Meals on Wheels.
Like many in-store campaigns, we rely on our cashier team members to be the face of the campaign and ask guests if they would like to participate. They are the reason we have such great success raising money for important community organizations.
The United Family, along with Meals on Wheels, wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the cashiers at each store who raised the most money by giving them gift cards just in time for the holidays. For many of them, they love having the opportunity to make a difference in their community. For others, like Melinda at #553, they do it because they have a special connection to the organization.
We are all grateful for their dedication and hard work raising money that will most certainly have a positive impact on people’s lives across our communities.
Here are the names of top cashiers from the EAP Campaign in Lubbock: Cassandra Tillman(#555), Shannon Turner(#543), Kristy Willis(#657), Denise Bailey(#505), Laura Stone(#502), Melinda Havens(#553), Rose Martinez(#552), DF Roberts(#537), Sarah Youngblood(#551), Coey Woodard(#503), Gloria Villagomez(#501), and Stephane Condron(#506). Cassandra was the top cashier for Lubbock! Well done!
In Abilene, the top 3 cashiers are recognized at each store. They are as follows: Candies Jones, Emma Hart, and Jade Newman(#545); Rachel Balderas, Linda French, and Lily Avery(#547); Casey Brown, Becky Greiger, and Kim Davis(#548); Joshua Watson, Tiffany Welch, and Mason Smith(#679). Candies was the top cashier for Abilene! Great job!
In Slaton(#511), our top cashier overall was Amber Guzman. Well done, Amber!

Altogether, team members across the three communities raised nearly $80,000! Truly remarkable! So, even if you weren’t among the top team members recognized here, thank you to all team members who collected donations…you made a HUGE positive impact!
