Lubbock Lights First Responder of the Week

That’s why we’re honored to be sponsoring the First Responder of the Week feature on Lubbock Lights — a powerful story series that highlights the service and commitment of local first responders.
Each week, Lubbock Lights showcases a local hero who goes above and beyond to protect and serve our friends and neighbors on the South Plains. Recently featured is Officer Ernest Oliphant of the Lubbock Police Department, who follows a lifelong calling to serve with purpose and dedication.
At United, we know that strong communities are built by people who care, and few others care the way our first responders do.
Through this ongoing partnership with Lubbock Lights, we hope to shine a spotlight on stories that remind us of the selfless service happening in our own neighborhoods and give team members, guests, and community members a chance to celebrate these everyday heroes.
