Summer Interns Strike Up Fun with High Point Village at South Plains Lanes

Summer Interns strike up Fun with High POint Village at South Plains Lanes: Bowling and Bonding

The United Family’s summer interns took time out of their day to give back in a big way — by teaming up with our friends at High Point Village in Lubbock for a fun-filled UCrew volunteer event at South Plains Lanes.

High Point Village is a non-profit organization with the purpose of providing a community and enriching the lives of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They strive to provide their villagers with opportunities to learn, work, and spend their days doing fun activities.

The interns were thrilled to spend time bowling with such an inspirational group. The room was filled with cheering and laughter as they built meaningful connections. Beyond just bowling, the interns served as friendly teammates and supporters, making sure everyone felt included throughout the event.

UCrew events like these are what make The United Family internship experience so special. It’s not just about gaining professional experience but also making a positive impact in the community.

We are going to miss this inspiring group of interns! Thank you for an amazing summer and for choosing to spend it with The United Family.
