The United Family is Expanding its Footprint in 2026
The United Family is set to expand by two stores in the first half of the new year! The communities of Lovington, New Mexico, and Andrews, Texas, will both add new locations to their communities.
The store in Lovington will be the first to open this year, under our Albertsons Market banner with an accompanying Albertsons Market Express fuel and convenience station.
Currently, this community of around 11,500 doesn’t have a shopping experience like Albertsons Market. This grocery store is going to have all of the staples our guests love, like a drive-thru pharmacy, floral department with custom arrangements, as well as Drive Up & Go online grocery ordering.
In addition, this location will also feature food service options like a hot bar, sushi, and ReadyMeals. It will even have catering services for guests who need help with special events, parties, and office functions.
One thing unique to our New Mexico locations is a wine and beer department that also includes spirits.
In Andrews, our team is working on the latest iteration of our United Supermarkets banner, the flagship banner of The United Family division.
Slated to open this summer, this new location will also have all the staples of our modern store locations — Drive Up & Go, Drive-thru pharmacy, Floral with custom arrangements, and more. It will also have a United Express fuel and convenience station.
In addition, guests will find a fully stocked department with an extensive selection of beer and wine. The store will also feature a full-service deli and hot bar with traditional favorites like fried chicken, breakfast, and fresh sushi.
